Red River Co-op is seeking a Pharmacist. The Pharmacist provides patient-focused services and professional advice on prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, and health issues. They build relationships with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and oversee Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants in medication delivery and patient assistance.

Essential responsibilities include:

  • Providing services such as injections, medication reviews, and minor ailment prescribing.
  • Offering advice on prescriptions and OTC medications, including indications, dosages, side effects, and interactions.
  • Ensuring accurate medication dispensing, managing timely delivery, reporting, invoicing, ordering, and communication.
  • Supervising pharmacy staff to ensure prescription accuracy and effectiveness.

About You:

To succeed, you should have:

  • A valid pharmacist license for Manitoba, good standing with the College of Pharmacists Manitoba, and no practice restrictions.
  • At least 2 years of pharmacy experience (preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Kroll pharmacy software is an asset.
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong, independent problem-solving skills.
