Responsibilities:
  1. Demonstrate warmth, empathy, and compassion, acting in the patient’s best interest to achieve excellence in patient-centered care, customer service, workflow efficiency, and clinical services such as disease management, medication reviews, adherence, health risk assessments, and vaccinations.
  2. Provide patient counseling and education tailored to individual needs and concerns, including considerations for literacy, hearing loss, and privacy.
  3. Initiate care plans, follow up, and ensure proper documentation.
  4. Participate in professional programs and collaborate with colleagues to deliver health and wellness services.
  5. Engage actively in all areas of Fusion to ensure seamless patient care across locations.
  6. Prioritize prescription safety, supporting Pharmacy Registered Technicians and Assistants as needed.
  7. Understand and promote all relevant pharmacy service offerings and programs to meet patient needs.
  8. Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy practices, regulations, and industry trends; attend training as required.
  9. Adhere to regulatory requirements, company policies, and procedures including OHS, Loss Prevention, and CQI.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
  2. Licensed Pharmacist in good standing in Alberta.
  3. Injection and First Aid Certification.
  4. Kroll software experience is preferred.
