Pharmacist
Your goal in this position is to provide direct patient care to identify, solve, and prevent drug therapy problems based on an evidence-informed practice. You will also participate in patient education, support the teaching of students, provide drug information and/or education to nursing and medical staff, and ensure patient medication safety by supporting drug distribution services. You are a great relationship builder, communicate effectively with peers across the entire organization, and effortlessly connect with physicians, staff, patients, and families in our diverse community. You are highly organized, have great interpersonal skills, demonstrate critical thinking and reasoning skills, and adapt well in a dynamic environment. You will take on the shared responsibility for ensuring that health and safety policies are followed to provide for a healthy environment for patients, staff, physicians, volunteers, and families.
Working at NYGH means working with a dynamic team of fellow healthcare providers, staff, and volunteers in one of Canada’s leading hospitals. This is a Part Time Casual position, with 8 hour shifts, day & evening shifts including weekends in Pharmacy Services. This position also includes shifts at the RCC Site at 555 Finch Avenue West. We offer a highly competitive total compensation package which may include benefits, pension, vacation pay, or pay in lieu of benefits, when applicable.
