Overview: Our Alberta based client is seeking a professional Pharmacist/Pharmacy Manager that is registered with the Alberta College of Pharmacy and is in good standing to work at and support an established Pharmacy in a rural community that is within driving distance from Edmonton.
What you will be doing:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the pharmacy including but not limited to order entry and receiving, customer service, dispensing, inventory management, invoicing, deliveries, etc.
Ability to lead, motivate and train staff accordingly.
Possess entrepreneurial skills with a passion to build the business.
Ensures compliance with federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations, policies and procedures and accrediting body standards.
Continuous professional development to remain current on latest advances in pharmacy industry.
Providing professional and clinical functions related to dispensing including pharmaceutical and clinical care, patient counselling, etc.
Liaising with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care.
Responsible for the training and orientation of new employees.
What you must have:
Licensed and in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacy.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Pharmacy in Canada.
Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
