Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support the Pharmacy Manager in daily operations at our Keele Street location in Toronto. You will provide patient-centered care, counsel patients, and ensure accurate dispensing while adhering to SOPs and privacy standards.

The role requires a Pharmacist license with Canada-wide recognition; Alberta ACPA option may be noted. Competitive hourly pay and dedicated team support are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with current license to practice in Ontario; Alberta permit optional CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacy Manager in day-to-day pharmacy operations.
• Explain medications and potential side effects to patients during consultations.
• Accept prescriptions and refill requests from customers, doctors or hospitals.
• Ensure prescriptions are filled accurately and safely using established workflows.
• Counsel patients on pharmaceutical products and privacy policies.
• Maintain proper storage and handling of medications.
