Job summary

Qualifications

• Age - 16 or older
• License - Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization)

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of the Pharmacy Operations.
• Provide patient care specific to each patient based on consultation or file review.
• Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor.
• Accept prescriptions and/or refill requests from customers, doctors or hospitals.
• Ensure prescriptions are filled accurately, safely, and in line with SOPs and counsel patients.
• Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
• Operate pharmacy equipment; protect patient privacy and follow provincial regulations.
• Deliver eligible services such as medication reviews and injections during posted hours.
