Job summary

Responsibilities
  • Collaboration with all members of the pharmacy team to ensure medication orders are dispensed accurately, safely, timely and completely.
  • Complete daily tasks in accordance with established workplace policies and procedures.
  • Consult with members of the pharmacy management team when there are unresolved issues surrounding day to day work functions.
  • Provide exceptional customer care to CareRx pharmacy patients and home partners.
  • Communications with all members of the resident care team while maintaining professionalism by following corporate policies to always ensure the highest standard of customer care and quality of pharmacy service.
  • Conduct medication regimen / profile reviews with associated documentation of recommendations.
  • Follow all provincial and federal laws, standards and regulations which govern the practice of pharmacy at all times.
  • Follow all corporate regulations, policies, and procedures at all times.
  • Assist in maintaining and monitoring of pharmacy inventory.
  • Participates in the training and support for newly hired and existing pharmacy team members when required.
What You Will Bring To The Team
  • Currently licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
  • Proven ability to foster strong partnership with other members of the health care team.
  • Effective organization, planning, and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of Kroll Windows application preferred.
  • Skilled in critical thought processes and ability to prioritize appropriately.
  • Self-directed, requiring minimal supervision and the ability to work independently.
  • Motivated to achieve results that reflect a high standard of quality.
  • Must demonstrate good listening skill and be adaptable to changes in job environment.
  • Previous Long Term pharmacy experience is an asset but not required.

Compensation Range: $48-$55 / hour. Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate’s credentials and experience.

Location: This role will be on site at 8525 Commerce Crt Burnaby, BC V5A4N3 and follows a five-day work week with required participation in the On-call Pharmacist weekend rotations.
