Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking a Pharmacist to manage the pharmacy operations on duty, provide consultation to customers and health care providers, dispense medications, and support dispensary maintenance.

You will ensure privacy, counsel on prescriptions and OTC products, and collaborate with health care professionals to deliver safe, high-quality care. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Ability to dispense medications accurately and safely within regulatory guidelines.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of federal/provincial pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Experience using Pharmacy systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge customers entering the Pharmacy.
• Counsel on prescriptions and OTC products.
• Ensure privacy requirements are met and maintain consent records.
• Dispense medications accurately and safely.
• Maintain records in line with legislation and policy.
• Communicate with other health care professionals as needed.
• Help manage dispensary operations and workflow.
