What you will be doing
  • Ensure prescriptions are dispensed according to pharmacy regulations and company policies to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care.
  • Provide patient counseling on specialty medications.
  • Support and coordinate activities of pharmacy technicians and assistants.
  • Assist in operational activities to optimize pharmacy processes and drive improvements.
  • Build relationships with healthcare providers and patients.
  • Collaborate with Distribution, Patient Programs, Clinics, and Nursing divisions.
  • Report adverse events per provincial standards and contractual obligations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. May require standby/on-call duties.
What your background should look like
  • B.Sc. Pharmacy degree or higher, registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, Part A.
  • At least 3 years of experience in retail, hospital, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations, legislation, and cold chain distribution practices.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Kroll and third-party billing is an asset.
  • Bilingual in French/English is an asset.
Minimum skills and abilities
  • Strong business, financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
