Job summary

Turtle Mountain Pharmacy in Alberta, Canada, is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our community team. The role includes engaging patients, dispensing medications, and providing comprehensive medication management with adherence to regulatory standards.

Open hours are standard weekdays with potential for FT/PT shifts. The successful candidate will work closely with other health professionals to support patient care and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with ACP in good standing.
• Community pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Authorization to Inject required; Additional Prescribing Authorization an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Be willing to collaborate with other health care providers.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients to conduct CACPs and SMMAs, counsel and follow up.
• Dispensing activities.
• Medication management including patient assessment and other professional services.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and pharmacy standards.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.

Job description

We are a Pharmacy located in the Crowsnest Pass, Alberta attached to the local medical clinical. Located in the Rocky Mountains having access to numerous hiking/biking trails and Ski resorts. Open Monday to Friday 9am-4:30pm and closed weekend/holidays.

• FT/PT hours
• Engage patients to conduct CACPs and SMMAs, counsel and follow-up with patients, prescribing as appropriate and administer injections
• Dispensing activities
• Medication management including patient assessment and other professional services
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and pharmacy standards.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.

• Licensed pharmacist with ACP in good standing
• Previous community pharmacy experience is an asset
• Authorization to Inject required and Additional Prescribing Authorization an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Kroll experience an asset
• Be willing to collaborate with other health care providers
