Job summary

PharmaChoice Canada is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our community pharmacy in the Crowsnest Pass area of Alberta. The role is full-time and includes dispensing, patient counselling, medication management, and injections, with a focus on regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care.

Applicants should have ACP licensure in good standing, be fluent in English, and be willing to collaborate with other health care providers. Benefits are offered as part of the package.

Qualifications

• License to practice as a pharmacist in Canada with good standing (ACP).
• Experience in community pharmacy is an asset.
• Inject authorization and prescribing authority are assets that help.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Will­ingness to collaborate with other health care providers.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients to conduct CACPs and SMMAs, counsel and follow-up with patients, prescribing as appropriate and administer injections.
• Dispensing activities and medication management including patient assessment.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and pharmacy standards.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records.
• Maintain inventory within the pharmacy.
• Collaborate with other health care providers.

Job description

We are a Pharmacy located in the Crowsnest Pass, Alberta attached to the local medical clinical. Located in the Rocky Mountains having access to numerous hiking/biking trails and Ski resorts. Open Monday to Friday 9am-4:30pm and closed weekend/holidays.

Duties And Responsibilities

• FT/PT hours
• Engage patients to conduct CACPs and SMMAs, counsel and follow-up with patients, prescribing as appropriate and administer injections
• Dispensing activities
• Medication management including patient assessment and other professional services
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and pharmacy standards
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy

Experience, Skills And Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with ACP in good standing
• Previous community pharmacy experience is an asset
• Authorization to Inject required and Additional Prescribing Authorization an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Kroll experience an asset
• Be willing to collaborate with other health care providers
