Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a full-time pharmacist to join our Gladstone Pharmacy location, located in Gladstone Manitoba.

Work Schedule:
Monday-Saturday 7am-5:30pm Closed Sundays

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities: The Pharmacist is responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy and actively contributes to an environment of employee and customer engagement. The Pharmacist will play a key role in achieving departmental excellence in the areas of patient focused care, customer service and workflow efficiencies.

  1. Focus on clinical services (i.e., medication reviews, disease state management)
  2. Initiate care plans, follow up and document
  3. Administer vaccines
  4. Determine appropriateness of drug therapy
  5. Monitor medication adherence
  6. Collect and document relevant patient, drug, and disease information
  7. Recommend OTC products and vitamins
  8. Answer questions from patients that require therapeutic knowledge, clinical analysis, or assessment
  9. Supervise a pharmacy student or a provisional pharmacist in the performance of restricted activities
  10. Other duties as required

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Experience in Kroll
  2. Experience working in a retail environment
  3. Good communication skills (both oral and written)
  4. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  5. Ability to work independently as well as within a team
