Summary:

Manage pharmacy operations during your shift, provide consultations to customers and healthcare providers, practice to full scope in professional services, dispense medication, and assist in dispensary maintenance.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide pharmacy and customer service, acknowledge all customers, practice within legal requirements, ensure privacy and confidentiality, counsel on prescriptions and OTC products, practice full scope of professional services, be identifiable to the public, ensure prescription accuracy, communicate with healthcare professionals, and maintain records as mandated.
Workflow and Inventory Management:
  • Control access to the dispensary, review workflow queues daily, manage stock levels, identify expired inventory, oversee medication orders, and comply with regulations regarding controlled substances.
Operations:
  • Maintain a professional appearance of work areas, participate in financial reporting, respond to store communications, and report incidents involving medication or privacy issues.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
  • Independent decision-making, leadership, customer service excellence, professionalism, problem-solving, familiarity with pharmacy systems, adherence to safety procedures, and ongoing education.
