Responsibilities include :

  • Demonstrate warmth, empathy, and compassion, prioritizing patient interests to achieve excellence in patient-centered care, customer service, workflow efficiency, and clinical services such as disease management, medication reviews, adherence, health assessments, and vaccinations.
  • Provide tailored patient counseling and education for new therapies, considering literacy, hearing, and privacy concerns.
  • Initiate care plans, follow up, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional programs to deliver health and wellness services.
  • Engage with all areas of Fusion to ensure seamless and consistent patient experiences across locations.
  • Support prescription safety, delegating technical functions appropriately to Pharmacy Registered Technicians and Assistants.
  • Understand and promote all relevant pharmacy service offerings to meet patient needs.
  • Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy practices, regulations, and industry trends through ongoing training.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements, company policies, and procedures including OHS, Loss Prevention, and CQI.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
  • Licensed Pharmacist in good standing in the province of practice.
  • Injection and First Aid Certification.
  • Kroll software experience is preferred.
