Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists.
• Authorized to administer injections and provide expanded scope services.
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient counselling skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full-scope pharmacy services including immunizations and injections.
• Perform minor ailment assessment and prescribing.
• Conduct medication reviews and patient counselling.
• Provide OTC recommendations and chronic disease support.
• Support long-term care facilities with pharmacy services.
• Verify prescriptions and ensure therapeutic appropriateness.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Lead dispensary workflow and daily operations.
• Mentor pharmacy staff and assist with inventory management.

Pharmacy Full Time Toronto, ON $52 - $62 CAD per hour

What You’ll Do

• Deliver full-scope pharmacy services including:
• Immunizations and injections
• Minor ailment assessment and prescribing
• Medication reviews and patient counselling
• OTC recommendations and chronic disease support
• Provide pharmacy services and medication support for long-term care facilities contracted with McGrath Pharmacies Inc.
• Verify prescriptions and ensure therapeutic appropriateness and accuracy
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Support and lead dispensary workflow and daily operations
• Provide guidance and mentorship to pharmacy staff
• Assist with inventory management and operational efficiency
• Build strong relationships with patients through compassionate and professional care
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
• Participate in continuing education and ongoing professional development
