Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Vernon, BC, is hiring a Pharmacist for our brand-new Polson location. The role offers a negotiable signing bonus and moving allowance.

You will oversee daily pharmacy operations, dispense medications, administer vaccinations, manage inventory, and provide private consultations with a focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Canadian Pharmacist in good standing.
• Injection certification required.
• Experience with Pharmacy Software, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) is an asset.
• Ability to apply clinical knowledge in practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing and vaccinations.
• Maintain inventory and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Stay current with new medications and clinical opportunities.

We are hiring a Pharmacist at our brand-new pharmacy at our Polson location in Vernon, BC, opening soon! This role is eligible for a negotiable signing bonus and moving allowance for the successful candidate.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Remaining current on latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
• Offering private consultations to our patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture.
• Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.

You have:

• A Canadian Pharmacist licence and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Your injection certification.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• The ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.
• Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).

Compensation Details:

$61.00 - $64.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
