Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist to join St. Walburg Pharmacy in St. Walburg, Saskatchewan, on either a full-time or part-time basis.

The role focuses on patient-centered care, clinical services, and collaborative practice with other healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes. Responsibilities include medication reviews, immunizations, and counseling while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists.
  • Injection certification is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development.
  • Administer vaccines and immunizations.
  • Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions.
  • Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage.
  • Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in performing restricted activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned.
