Job summary

Saskatoon Community Clinic is looking for a dedicated pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care services to both clinic and non-clinic clients. The successful candidate will collaborate with physicians for medication counselling and may direct pharmacy technicians and assistants.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree, be registered with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals, and possess strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Must be bondable.
  • Insurance malpractice insurance.
  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Able to work efficiently in a high-volume pharmacy.

Core Function
  • Provide pharmaceutical care services to clinic and non-clinic clients.
  • Direct, guide, and evaluate pharmacy technicians, assistants, and/or students as required.
  • Collaborate with physicians to provide prescriptions and medication counselling, drug education as part of an interdisciplinary team with a strong emphasis on health promotion and disease management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
  • Registration with Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP).
  • Registration with Pharmacy Association of Saskatchewan (PAS).
  • Must be bondable.
  • Insurance malpractice insurance.
  • Must have knowledge of and capability with the philosophy and policies of CHSA.
  • Good oral and communication skills.
  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Able to work independently as well as work as a team member.
  • Able to work efficiently in a high-volume pharmacy.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills and professional attitude.
