Halton Healthcare’s Oakville-based Main Pharmacy seeks a Pharmacist to manage dispensing, order entry in Meditech Expanse, and profile review with attention to drug distribution issues. You will support staff and students, and provide back-up coverage across departments on nights, evenings and weekends.
The role requires licensure in Ontario, hospital experience, and strong clinical judgment. Proficiency with Meditech and MS Office is preferred, with an emphasis on accuracy and patient safety.

Dispensary duties in the Main Pharmacy including medication order and profile review and entry into Meditech Expanse Pharmacy module, checking responsibilities, trouble‑sh‑ooting clinical & drug distribution issues, & acting as a resource for Pharmacy Technicians & Students. As staffing situations require, provide back-up coverage for staff on a variety of patient care units and departments including decentralized medication order and profile review and problem investigation, medication reconciliation and resolution and liaison responsibilities. Based at Oakville but will include remote coverage of other sites on nights, evenings & weekend shifts. Other duties as assigned.

Salary: $50.766 to $67.95 per hour
