Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy in Innisfail, Alberta, is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join Sandstone Pharmacies Henday Centre. Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management, and care plan development; administer vaccines; determine drug therapy appropriateness; counsel patients; and collaborate with other health professionals to optimize outcomes.

You will support daily pharmacy operations, supervise students, and ensure compliance with provincial standards.

Qualifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacists.
  • Injection certification is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacist to join our team at Sandstone Pharmacies Henday Centre in Innisfail, Alberta.

  • Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development.
  • Administer vaccines and immunizations
  • Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions
  • Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage
  • Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in performing restricted activities
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned
