Job summary

No Frills in Elliot Lake is seeking a pharmacist to join our Loblaw Pharmacy team. You will receive, prepare and deliver Rx accurately and timely while ensuring patient safety.

The role requires a BSc in Pharmacy and a Class A license, strong customer relations, problem-solving, and comfort with HealthWatch Pharmacy system; you will educate customers and support doctors as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy completed and Class A Pharmacist’s license.
• Superior customer relations skills and professionalism.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to formulate and execute action plans.
• Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of HealthWatch Pharmacy Computer system.
• Excellent leadership and performance management abilities.
• Ability to build community-based marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely.
• Maintain adequate medication and OTC inventory levels.
• Provide timely resolutions to patients’ needs and doctors’ requests.
• Review and control costs at all levels.
• Counsel patients regarding new medications in a friendly, proactive manner.
• Educate customers through outreach.
