Job summary

Ashfield Healthcare Canada Inc is seeking a Pharmaceutical Representative for Primary Care/Neurology in the Niagara Falls region. You will execute territory plans, engage physicians and pharmacists, and deliver approved messages aligned with brand strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 3–5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Experience in Primary Care and/or Neurology is preferred.
• Experience organizing CME programs and educational events.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory.
• Knowledge of the assigned territory is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver approved product messages to family physicians, general practitioners and pharmacists.
• Organize speaker programs, symposia, virtual events, and CME activities in support of brand objectives.

The Pharmaceutical Representative, Primary Care/Neurology, is responsible for achieving territory sales objectives through effective communication of prescription product information, and the development of strong relationships with healthcare professionals. The Pharmaceutical Representative executes territory business plans, engages customers both in-person and virtual interactions, and contributes to the successful implementation of educational and customer engagement initiatives to support the appropriate use of neurology and migraine treatment options.The successful candidate will demonstrate strong scientific acumen, sales effectiveness, customer engagement skills, and a commitment to compliance with industry regulations and company policies.Contract length: 12-Months (High Potential for Renewal)Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver approved product and brand messages to targeted family physicians, general practitioners and pharmacists in accordance with the product monograph, approved messaging, company policies, and brand strategy.Build strong relationships with key customers, both in person and in a virtual environment.Organize and coordinate speaker programs, symposia, virtual events, exhibits, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities in support of brand objectives.Develop and execute a territory business plan aligned with brand objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.Leverage customer insights and market knowledge to identify opportunities, prioritize activities, and achieve territory sales objectives.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional colleagues and external business partners to support territory and brand execution.Demonstrate the Company’s values and leader behaviors, including adherence to policies, procedures and the IMC Code of Marketing Practices.Identify and report adverse events and product complaints in accordance with corporate procedure.Maintain all Company property (samples, promotional materials, etc.) in good working condition.Qualifications & ExperienceExperience and EducationBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.Minimum 3-5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.Experience in Primary Care and/or Neurology is preferred.Experience organizing and supporting CME programs and educational events.Knowledge of the assigned territory is considered an asset.Knowledge, Skills & CompetenciesStrong product, therapeutic, and disease-state knowledge.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong customer engagement and relationship-building skills.Proven ability to develop and execute territory business plans.Strong networking, presentation, and organizational skills.Proficiency with CRM systems, digital engagement platforms, and AI-enabled tools.Additional RequirementsValid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.Our Benefits:Health Benefits as of day 1 of employmentLength of Service AwardsQuarterly Star AwardsYearly Inizio Circle of Excellence AwardsReferral bonusLibrary of online training coursesSalary Range: 75k to 90k + Bonus + Car Allowance About Inizio Engage:Inizio Engage is a strategic, commercial, and creative engagement partner that specializes in healthcare.
