A leading technology consulting firm is seeking a Process Engineer to join their Guelph team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in process improvements, and a solid background in manufacturing. We are currently looking for a Process Engineer to join our team in Guelph. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in process improvements, and a solid background in manufacturing environments. The Process Engineer will be a key contributor in supporting and executing small to moderately sized projects, particularly in new product introductions, product improvements, and raw material qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
Support or lead the execution of small to moderately sized project tasks according to defined timelines.
Participate in the technology transfer process for New Product Introduction (NPI), product improvements, and new raw material qualifications.
Assist in executing experimental designs, including sample collection, in-process testing, and sample management.
Analyze process data to identify opportunities for manufacturing improvements and optimize critical process parameters.
Contribute to and lead efforts in Design of Experiments (DOE), process scale-up activities, and validation procedures.
Support or lead manufacturing investigations related to deviations, out-of-specification results, stability issues, and customer complaints.
Prepare and/or review technical documentation including reports, memos, data summaries, and scientific rationales.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage change control documentation, investigations, CAPAs, and product release data analysis.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
3 - 6 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or food industries.
Proven experience in data analysis, process troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Familiarity with DOE methodologies and scale-up processes.
Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work on-site full-time in Guelph, Ontario.
