Overview

The Produce Clerk is responsible for executing all duties in a professional, responsible, accurate, and timely manner. The Clerk will provide exceptional customer service, foster customer loyalty, meet customer needs, and contribute to an engaging environment for both employees and customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety regulations, corporate policies, and other initiatives.
• Provide excellent customer service to meet customer needs.
• Keep the work area clean and presentable.
• Process customer produce orders efficiently.
• Perform program execution and merchandising of products.
• Handle and prepare deli products as required.
• Actively promote products to increase store sales.
• Participate in training and mentoring of junior staff.
• Order and receive stock in accordance with inventory control procedures.
• Manage department shrinkage.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment as per company standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
