Envision a job where you can use your strong positive work ethic and passion for safety to operate and maintain the Metro Depot distribution terminal including receipt, storage, handling, and loading of refined products via pipeline, and truck. With your strong integrity and desire to learn new things, look no further!

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of relative experience, preferably in operations and/or maintenance
  • A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • Familiar using computer logging systems

Responsibilities:

  • Show your dedication and support the terminal operation to improve our safety culture and overall safety performance
  • Manage fuel material by receiving product into tanks via pipeline and truck, transferring product from tank to tank, and draining and preparing equipment for maintenance
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on tank storage and loading equipment
  • Conduct sampling and testing as per the schedule or when required due to quality issues
  • Maintain competencies by reading and understanding new procedures or relevant changes to the manuals and documentation, and ensure regulatory training and certifications are up to date

Location and other Key Details:

  • You will work out of our Metro Depot office, located at 1138 Finch Ave W, North York, Ontario
  • The shift schedule consists of rotating days and nights; working on 12-hour shifts
  • This position is safety sensitive
  • You will be required to perform all essential physical aspects and responsibilities of the role with the mechanical aptitude to capably handle the operation of terminal equipment and maintenance in an all-weather outdoor environment while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
