BGIS Energy & Facility Solutions is expanding and looking for Service Technicians specializing in maintenance and repair of pumping equipment, electrical systems, and fuel management systems for retail petroleum stations, utility providers, transit services, and public works yards.

We are hiring a Petroleum Service Technician Apprentice to join our growing team. The role involves maintenance and repair of petroleum equipment, electrical systems, and fuel management systems across various industrial and service sectors.

Please note: A Clean Driver’s Abstract and Valid Driver’s License are required for this position.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Shadow accredited technicians to learn service and maintenance of petroleum equipment and systems.
  2. Support repair and maintenance of leak detection systems.
  3. Build hours towards petroleum technician accreditation (PMH, etc.).
  4. Deliver parts to job sites as needed.
  5. Manage and maintain the shop and warehouse.
  6. Assist on service calls under supervision of lead technician.
  7. Maintain professionalism and positive representation of the company.
  8. Develop independent judgment to solve work problems.
  9. Build strong relationships with clients.
  10. Complete documentation accurately and promptly.
  11. Follow health and safety policies and procedures.
  12. Manage multiple tasks effectively, demonstrating physical and mental capability.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Mechanically inclined with problem-solving skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driver’s Abstract.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Aptitude for visiting new places and being on the road.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $19.59 - $29.34 per hour, starting based on experience, education, and performance.
