As a groomer, you will play an essential role in maintaining salon cleanliness and promoting pet health. Candidates must either have prior grooming experience or successful completion of training at the PetSmart Salon Academy. Flexibility in schedule is required, and strong communication skills are a must.

Qualifications

• Prior grooming experience or 6 months of experience in Stylist in Training.
• Flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs grooming services.
• Recommends health and wellness solutions.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation in the salon.

Skills

Prior grooming experience

Proficiency in computer applications

Ability to react under pressure

Strong organizational skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education

Successful completion of Salon Academy training
