Job description

The PET-CT Services Manager will lead the operational delivery, development, and performance of static, relocatable, and mobile PET-CT services across the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage PET-CT services across multiple sites, ensuring high standards of clinical care, operational efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
  • Oversee budgets, KPIs, and contractual obligations, driving both performance and profitability.
  • Provide clinical leadership, ensuring compliance with CQC, IR(ME)R, IRR, ARSAC, and other regulatory standards.
  • Develop and motivate multidisciplinary teams, supporting recruitment, induction, training, and professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with NHS Trusts, commissioners, private providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead service development initiatives, clinical governance, audit activities, and patient experience improvement programs.
  • Support business development opportunities and strategic planning for PET-CT services.
Qualifications
  • Clinical background in PET-CT with confidence and credibility to lead at senior level.
  • Proven experience leading complex, multi-site healthcare services across the NHS and independent sector.
  • Strong operational and commercial acumen, managing budgets and delivering against financial targets.
  • Collaborative, calm, and decisive leadership style, especially in complex or high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, translating strategy into practical, deliverable plans.
  • Experience working within regulatory frameworks including CQC, IR(ME)R, IRR, ARSAC and related standards.
Salary and Location

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + company or car allowance. Location: Home-based with national travel, 37.5 hours per week.
