Abell Pest Control is seeking a Pest Technician to perform thorough inspections of residential and small business sites, identify pests, and recommend eradication approaches. You will also help build new business through sales while following safety guidelines and product instructions on fumigants and sprays.

The role emphasizes route optimization, strong customer service, and ongoing professional development within a family-oriented company culture.

Formación

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to obtain Applicator’s License.
• Sales experience is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Provide guidance for best extermination processes for infestations and determine whether to use pesticides, traps, blockages, or other control methods.
• Establish contact with potential customers to create new business opportunities.
• Follow safety procedures and product instructions when using fumigants, pesticides and spraying equipment.
• Manage schedule and route to ensure services are completed in a timely manner.
• Address customer needs and optimize their pest control program on-site.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, The Pest Technician will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections to a variety of business including residential homes. They identify pest problems, choose an effective approach to eradicate pests and provide recommendations to prevent future infestation. You will also be required to build new business through sales.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance for the best extermination processes for the identified infestation source and whether the process will include pesticide use, mechanical traps, blockages, and/or other pest control methods
• Establish contact with potential customers to create new business opportunities
• Follow safety procedures and product instructions at all times when using fumigants, pesticides and power spraying equipment, such wearing protective gear guidelines
• Manage schedule and route to ensure services are completed in a timely manner
• Address customer needs and optimize their program on-site

Requirements

• A Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Willingness to obtain your Applicator's License
• Sales experience an asset
