Role Overview

Reporting to an Associate Director of Care, the Personal Support Worker plays a vital role in our community, impacting residents’ lives positively.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide Resident Supervision and Assistance

    Support residents with activities of daily living such as eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming, following individual care plans.

  2. Provide Resident Care and Services

    Assist residents with communication aids, administer medications with proper training, and ensure access to mobility devices.

  3. Support Resident Comfort & Well-being

    Offer cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support, oral and dental care, and encourage participation in programs.

Qualifications
  • Compassionate and dedicated to supporting seniors
  • Completed a Personal Support Worker program or hold a Nursing degree (including Internationally Educated Nurses)
  • Detail-oriented with proficiency in bedside care and treatments
  • Tactful and diplomatic in interactions with residents and families
Additional Information

  • Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check is required.
