What You’ll Be Doing:

You will be a valued member of the Long Term Care team at Granite Ridge Community, working in a fast-paced environment to make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. You will develop a deep understanding of residents and their experiences, building relationships with them and their families. Your support will enhance their daily health and well-being, contributing to a culture focused on helping residents live fully every day.

How You’ll Succeed:

1. Provide Resident Supervision and Assistance: support residents with activities of daily living such as eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming, according to individual care plans.
2. Provide Resident Care and Services: encourage communication by supporting residents in using sensory aids, administer medications with proper training, ensure access to mobility devices, and provide ongoing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support, including oral and dental care. Encourage participation in programs offered by the Resident Experience Team.

Who You Are:

• Compassionate and dedicated to supporting seniors in living full lives.
• Completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved institution or an Internationally Educated Nurse with a Nursing degree.
• Detail-oriented with proficiency in procedures and bedside care.
• Diplomatic and tactful when working with seniors, families, and visitors.
