Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.
• Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and related bedside care to residents; basic sanitation and geriatric needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring care for residents per plan by observing and reporting findings.
• Assist in documenting care information as directed.
• Attend in-service education sessions, staff meetings, and workshops as directed.
• Assist in onboarding of new staff as directed.
• Must follow IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) policies and procedures.

Job description

• Attends in-service education sessions, staff meetings, and workshops as directed.
• Assists in the onboarding of new staff as directed.
• Must follow IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) policies and procedures.

Salary Range: $25.77 - $28.45 per hour
