AgeCare in Vaughan, Canada is seeking a Personal Support Worker to assist in monitoring and documenting resident care, attend education sessions, and help onboard new staff. The role requires PSW certification and knowledge of basic treatments, sanitation, and geriatric needs.

The successful candidate will work under established care plans, follow IPAC policies, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive team focused on meaningful resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.
• Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and related bedside care to residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring care to residents according to the established plan of care.
• Assist in the documentation of information pertaining to the care of residents.
• Attend in-service education sessions, staff meetings, and workshops.

Salary Range: $25.77 - $28.45 per hour
