Our Community Support Services (CSS) team provides essential services that enable our clients to thrive. Whether their disability is physical, the result of brain injury, or aging, our more than 2,000 team members assist clients in their homes and across communities, to live as independently as possible.
No PSW Certificate? No Problem!
We understand that the right attitude and passion are key to delivering great care. That’s why we’re offering on-the-job training, so you don’t need to have a Personal Support Worker certificate to apply. If you’re eager to learn, we will provide all the training and support necessary to succeed in this role.
The opportunity:
Known internally as Support Service Attendants, we have Part-Time opportunities in our Northeast Region – Elliot Lake.
Flexible schedule: Includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. (adjust shifts times as necessary)
Hours: This position is less than 30 hours per week.
Starting wage: $22.52, inclusive of the $3.00 per hour wage enhancement from the Ontario government for hours spent directly supporting clients. The wage enhancement does not apply to training and paid leave.
Responsibilities:
Assist consumers in their own homes with non-medical activities of daily living in accordance with individual service plans and with March of Dimes Canada policies and procedures:
