AgeCare is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide compassionate care to residents according to individualized care plans. You will monitor resident needs, document care activities, and support onboarding and ongoing education for team members in a safe, sanitary environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Know how to administer simple treatments and provide bedside care.
• Understand sanitation basics and care needs of geriatric residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring care per the plan of care by observing residents and reporting findings.
• Assist in documentation of resident care information as directed.
• Attend in-service sessions, staff meetings and workshops as directed.
• Assist in onboarding of new staff and follow IPAC policies.
