Job summary

AgeCare is hiring a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide compassionate care to residents, following established care plans and supporting safety. You will observe and report on residents, document care details, and participate in ongoing staff education while upholding IPAC standards and onboarding new team members.

Qualifications

• Must have PSW diploma or certificate.
• Must meet vocational standards by recognized bodies.
• Knowledge of simple bedside care and treatments.
• Understand sanitation basics and geriatric resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring care per care plans and report findings.
• Document resident information as directed.
• Attend in-service sessions, staff meetings and workshops.
• Assist onboarding of new staff per instruction.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
