How YOU make a difference

PSWs support and deliver on all personalized activities of daily living that meet our resident’s needs, including ambulatory support, personal hygiene, companionship, and nutritional support. They are integral to our multi-disciplinary team, building trusted relationships with residents, families, and teams through effective communication.

PSWs document the completion of tasks on an electronic health record platform and quickly communicate changes in resident care needs to clinical leads.

What YOU bring

• Personal Support Worker Certification from a certified educational facility OR internationally educated nurse
• Strong drive, respect, and understanding of the emotional and physical demands of the role
• Focus on teamwork and customer service with the ability to build trusted relationships
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
• Volunteer / working experience in a Senior Living setting is an asset, not required
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required
• Current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or willingness to obtain one
