Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Part Time Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our Glynnwood location in Thornhill. Shifts from 12PM to 6PM totaling 24 hours biweekly support residents with daily living activities and nutrition in a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

Ideal candidates hold a PSW Certification, have First Aid and BLS, and can document care on electronic health records. We value teamwork, empathy, reliability, and strong communication skills in a supportive

Qualifications

• PSW Certification from a certified educational facility OR internationally educated nurse.
• Strong drive, respect and an understanding of the emotional and physical demands of the role.
• Focus on teamwork and customer service with the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
• Volunteer/working experience in a Senior Living setting is an asset, not required.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required.
• Current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one.
