Join our team as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) - Navan at RhynoCare Staffing Solutions

We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide skilled care for all activities of daily living, following corporate policies, established standards, and recognized nursing practices.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist registered staff with nursing diagnostic and therapeutic measures.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time, in accordance with policies.
• Deliver holistic, quality resident care aligned with RhynoCare’s Mission, Vision, Values, and the Resident Bill of Rights.
• Support resident meal service and restorative nursing activities.
• Coordinate and execute all activities necessary for effective resident care during shifts and across the unit.
• Ensure care is delivered in compliance with legislation, best practices, and policies.
• Participate in risk management and quality improvement programs related to resident care.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation for all care provided.
• Mentor new staff and students, promoting ongoing education.
• Attend departmental, interdisciplinary team, and resident safety meetings.
• Foster teamwork among shifts, staff, and within the collective agreement.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures, including proper body mechanics, equipment use, safety protocols, and PPE use.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in verbal and written English; second language skills are an asset.
• Completion of a Ministry-approved PSW Training Program (minimum 640 hours) or be an RN, RPN, Paramedic, or a student in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy with Year 1 completed.
• Experience as a Facility PSW is an asset.
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray, current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Meet health surveillance requirements and have a clear criminal record check within the past year.
