Personal Support Worker (PSW) - Huntsville

Join RhynoCare Staffing Solutions as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) in Huntsville. We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide skilled care aligned with corporate policies, standards, and nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Support registered staff with diagnostic and therapeutic measures.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation.
• Ensure holistic, quality resident care in line with RhynoCare’s Mission, Vision, Values, and the Resident Bill of Rights.
• Assist with meal services and restorative nursing.
• Coordinate activities for effective resident care during shifts.
• Follow legislation, best practices, and safety procedures.
• Participate in risk management and quality improvement programs.
• Mentor new staff and promote educational opportunities.
• Attend safety meetings and foster teamwork among staff.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols, including PPE use and proper body mechanics.

Qualifications

Minimum 18 years old.

Proficient in English; second language skills are an asset.

Completed a Ministry-approved PSW training program (min. 640 hours) or be a student in related health fields.

Experience as a Facility PSW is an asset.

Negative TB test or chest X-ray.

Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Meet health surveillance requirements and criminal record check within the past year.
