A leading community health care provider is seeking Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to deliver care in home settings. The role involves providing personal care and health maintenance, with eligible incentives including wage enhancements for dedicated service. Requisition Details:
The PSW provides personal care and health maintenance to individuals and families in the home setting within the framework of VON philosophy, policies, procedures and standards, in community health care.
This position is eligible for the $3.00 per hour wage enhancement from the Ontario Government for all hours spent directly caring for clients.
Are you a PSW who graduated in Ontario on or after April 1, 2023? You may qualify for the Personal Support Worker Return of Service (PSW ROS) through Health Force Ontario. This program provides a $10,000 incentive to eligible PSWs in exchange for a 12-month commitment at a full-time work schedule to an eligible employer. Responsibilities:
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing companionship, personal care and health maintenance services to clients in their home, within the framework of VON's philosophy, policies, standards and legislation.
