Job description

VON Canada is currently hiring compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to work in Belleville, Trenton, Picton, and Bancroft, ON for our Home Support Program.

To support the privacy of VON clients, this role requires you to be fully licensed to drive in Canada and have access to a vehicle to travel between clients during your shift.

What we need from you:

• Certificate in Personal Support Worker (PSW) program, Health Care Aide (HCA), or Developmental Service Workers (DSWs)
• Nursing students or internationally educated nurses are eligible to apply
• A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required
• A current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required; a Vulnerable Sector Search and/or a Child Abuse Registry Check may also be required
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
