Job Summary

Our Personal Support Workers (PSWs) report to the Client Services Coordinator and are expected to deliver high-standard care, ensuring clients and patients remain safe and comfortable at home. Services are outlined in personalized care plans. We are currently recruiting PSWs for the Midland Area.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, activities of daily living, meal prep, light housekeeping, and laundry
• Accompany clients on outings, appointments, shopping, and errands as applicable
• Provide companionship to clients and patients
• Offer respite for families
• Maintain daily documentation and charting in electronic systems

Qualifications

• Proficient in English (verbal and written)
• Multilingual abilities are an asset
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations
• Personal Support Worker Certificate
• Previous PSW experience is an asset
• Access to internet and mobile phone
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificates
• Vulnerable Sector Screen
