Job summary

Montrose Dental in the Niagara Falls area is seeking a dental assistant who takes pride in patient care and enjoys working in a supportive, community-focused practice. The role offers growth opportunities and a welcoming team environment.

The wage for this Dental Assistant position is $27-$31/hour, depending on skills and location. This is a replacement role with full-time hours. Schedule includes weekdays with potential some Fridays off.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• NDAEB is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.
