Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Personal Support Worker to support patients in their homes and community settings within Timiskaming District. You will assist with activities of daily living and provide compassionate, reliable in-home care.

You will help with meals, basic housekeeping, and companionship, following the care plan and ensuring patient comfort and safety during visits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Personal Support Worker certificate.
• Demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with patients.
• Reliable and flexible to adapt to home care schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (skin, hair, oral care, bathing, toileting, peri-care).
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets as per care plan.
• Provide basic housekeeping and companionship to enhance quality of life.
