Qualicare Hamilton Homecare is looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our family as Personal Support Workers (PSWs). Qualicare Hamilton offers home care services that focus on providing the best quality of life for our clients and peace of mind for their families.

The Personal Support Worker is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene
• Meal Preparation
• Light Housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outings
• Shopping and errands
• Medication Assist/ Reminders
• Ambulation and transporting of clients
• Provide companionship to clients
• Ability to follow care-plan
• Documentation/Charting

• Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent
• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
• Current vaccination records, including proof of a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Vulnerable Sector Screen
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from client's residences within geographical area
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with clients
• Reliability and flexibility
• Access to Internet/mobile phone
