What You’ll Be Doing:

You will be a valued member of the Long Term Care team at Spencer House Community, working in a dynamic environment to make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. You will develop a deep understanding of your residents and their experiences, building relationships with them and their families. You will offer support options and programs that enhance their daily health and well-being, contributing to a positive culture focused on helping residents live fully every day.

How You’ll Succeed:

  1. Provide Resident Supervision and Assistance: Support residents with activities of daily living such as eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming, following individual care plans.
  2. Provide Resident Care and Services: Encourage communication and use of sensory aids, administer medications with proper training, ensure access to mobility devices, offer cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support, and promote participation in activities.

Who You Are:

  • Compassionate and dedicated to supporting seniors in living life fully.
  • Completed a Personal Support Worker program or an equivalent nursing degree.
  • Detail-oriented, proficient in basic treatments and bedside care.
  • Diplomatic and tactful in interactions with seniors, families, and visitors.
