What You’ll Be Doing:

You will be a valued member of the Long Term Care team at Granite Ridge Community, working in a dynamic environment to make a meaningful difference. You will understand your residents deeply, build relationships with them and their families, and offer support that enhances their health and well-being. As part of a team, you will contribute to a culture focused on helping residents live fully every day.

How You’ll Succeed:

1. Provide Resident Supervision and Assistance: Support residents with daily activities such as eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming according to their care plans.
2. Provide Resident Care and Services: Encourage communication and connection, assist with prescribed medications under supervision, ensure access to mobility aids, and offer cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support, including oral and dental care. Promote participation in programs offered by the Resident Experience Team.

Who You Are:

• Compassionate and dedicated to supporting seniors in living fulfilling lives
• Completed a Personal Support Worker program or hold a Nursing degree (Internationally Educated Nurses)
• Detail-oriented with proficiency in bedside care and treatment procedures
• Diplomatic and tactful in interactions with seniors, families, and visitors
