Personal Support Worker Permanent Full Time Days (75 Hours)

About the Role

Reporting to the Associate Director of Care, you will be a vital part of our Long Term Care team, making a positive impact on residents' lives through compassionate care and support.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities such as eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming as per individual care plans
• Support communication by encouraging use of sensory aids
• Administer medications with proper training and supervision
• Ensure residents have access to mobility aids and assistive devices
• Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support, including oral and dental care
• Encourage participation in programs to promote well-being

Qualifications

• Completed a Personal Support Worker program or equivalent; or an Internationally Educated Nurse with a Nursing degree
• Detail-oriented with proficiency in basic treatment procedures and bedside care
• Compassionate, tactful, and dedicated to supporting seniors
