Wikwemikong has an opening for 4 Full-time Personal Support Workers

$23.58 to $30.58 hourly (To be negotiated) / 80 hours bi-weekly

Permanent employment – Full time

Responsibilities

  1. Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment
  2. Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
  3. Perform other duties related to personal care
  4. Supply and empty bed pans
  5. Serve meal trays and feed patients
  6. Weigh, lift, turn and position patients
  7. Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments
  8. Make beds and maintain patients’ rooms
  9. Bathe, dress and groom patients
  10. Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
  11. Answer call signals to determine patients’ needs
  12. Collect specimens
  13. Administer first aid in emergency situations
